The Freestyle Pro Tour brought back freestyle to Italy. The FPT Vieste has just come to its end after 4 days of action, and team Severne did not leave empty handed.
July 30 2022, we celebrate freestyle windsurfing in collaboration with Rene Egli Fuerteventura, and INNSIDE by Melia Fuerteventura; and introduce the new Severne 023 Psycho freestyle board.
From the 9 till the 12th of June the Freestyle scene was set by the Italian shores of the Adriatic sea. The town of Vieste was the host of the second EFPT tour stop of 2022.
With a good wind and wave forecast, high-end freestyle action was in the cards going into the event leading to high anticipation and expectations from all riders.
The 2022 freestyle season has officially started. The Freestyle Pro Tour (FTP) just finalised its first event at Lake Neuseedl in Austria, and the Severne team occupied podium positions in both the women’s and men’s fleets.
When the conditions really turn on in Eilat, Israel, it offers world class windsurfing conditions. For Adam Gavriel, it’s his home spot, as well as, his favourite freestyle spot on the planet.
After a summer break, the European Freestyle Pro Tour just completed probably their most spectacular event of the season so far. The Greek island of Rhodos was the host and the conditions didn’t dissapoint; neither did the Severne team with victories across all divisions.
The motivation for some full power freestyle sailing was at a high this winter in Tenerife. Lots of wind was on offer but not too many waves making El Medano the perfect place for freestyle action. Here is Dieters video recap.
