A whole new event was added to the windsurfing world this week – the Defi Wind “Les Ailes de St. Tropez” aka LAST. And Severne rider Sara Wennekes snagged herself yet another victory.
We caught up with Sara Wennekes to get her insights into the event, and to shoot a little interview.
After years of no large scale events, the 2022 edition of the Defi Wind brought back all of the best elements of the past; lots of wind, lots of action, parties, and the reunion of 1200+ windsurfers from across the globe.
After the return of Defi Wind Superstars in 2021, the full scale Defi Wind we all know is back, and will happen from May 26 to May 29. The Severne crew and the majority of the Severne team will be present throughout the whole event.
