Designed to highlight only the performance characteristics that are vital for the developing windsurfer, the Verso is a feature-packed board with an intuitive feel.
The Verso is specifically designed and fully tested to assist you in all aspects of Freeride windsurfing and is especially reassuring for those learning all variations of gybing.
Performance characteristics include; a centralised buoyancy for enhanced stability and control when working your way into the harness and straps. A progressive rocker-line promotes acceleration for super early planing and gybing exits. Push it onto its rail for full speed blasting, and you’ll still feel the acceleration to push the limit of your comfort zone.
The hardest move you’ll learn on a windsurfer is the gybe. The Verso covers this with a very stable approach, a controllable carve, and increased exit speed. This board is intentionally designed and has been proven to assist the rider through the key stages of the turn and build consistency.

A single tool does everything.
1. Fin screw.
2. Footstrap installation.
3. Beer opener.
The HEX4 tool is supplied with every sail and every board. Compared to a Philips screwdriver, the 4mm hex key is a much easier system to tighten and adjust footstraps and fins. It only requires a rotational movement rather than downforce + rotation. The wide boomerang gives enough leverage to fully tighten footstraps with a fraction of the effort of a Philips screwdriver.
ROBUST CONSTRUCTION
Full Wood deck and bottom layup with heavy-duty reinforcements. Biaxial Glass reinforcements between the impact zones i.e. mast track, nose, and heels. Rail Bands add parabolic reinforcements for added reactivity.

It is not necessary. The supplied Verso fin easily covers a wide range of sail sizes.
HOW MANY FOOTSTRAP POSITIONS ON THE VERSO?
The Verso offers three options; inner, middle, and outer positions to cover beginners, intermediate, and advanced intermediate windsurfers.
WHICH SAILS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR THE VERSO?
CAN THE VERSO BE USED AS A FOIL BOARD?
No. The SEVERNE Alien is the most adequate for freeride foiling, and the PREDATOR is for high-level freeride and freestyle. Lastly, the SEVERNE HYDRO serves as the foil race board.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY A NOSE PROTECTOR ONLY?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy the protector only. You can order the board with a nose protector when pre-ordering. These are pre-fitted in the factory.
