A direct descendant of the Mach race sail program, the NCX blends the design concepts that maximise speed, power, and stability with the user-friendliness of a no-cam sail:

SEAMLESS FOOT CONSTRUCTION

A single panel in the foot area with hidden load patches and zero exposed stitching eliminates seam abrasion and seam creep in this high load area. Maximum durability and minimum weight.

An Xtended Range for each sail size allows for bigger gaps in your quiver. Choose your favorite sail and then skip a size up or down to broaden your wind range

How many cams does the NCX have?

The NCX has no cambers.

What mast should I use with the NCX?

RDM RED – For ultimate performance.
RDM BLUE – High end performance with increased reliability.

Can I rig the NCX on an SDM mast?

Yes, all NCX sizes also rig on SDM masts.

CAN I USE A NON SEVERNE MAST IN THE NCX?

All of our development, testing, rigging and tuning is done using Severne masts. We strongly recommend our customers to use SEVERNE masts. Our masts are designed with a specific Severne bend curve that remains one of the pillars of our rigs.

We don’t test the performance or bend curves of other masts, and can therefore not guarantee which performance or durability you can get out of your sail using a different brand mast.

We describe the curve of our mast as a Severne curve. The constant, hardtop or flex top curves that generic mast brands describe are based on measurements on 3 points. We measure our masts at 7 points minimum.

Which boom should I use with the NCX?

The Enigma 160 fits 5.0 – 7.8 of the NCX range and will give you the ultimate freeride experience.
The NCX 8.2 will fit best on the Enigma 170.

What is the difference between NCX and MOTO?

The NCX doesn’t have cams.

The NCX feels less locked in.
