FOX _PERFORMANCE FREERIDE

Building on the major performance upgrades of previous iterations, the FOX is now engineered to be as light as ever while maintaining its defining characteristics.

The proven continuous rocker, moderate tail width, and pronounced vee create a platform that delivers unmatched control at speed. A new lightweight pigmented resin construction reduces weight while maintaining the legendary FOX control.

When other boards back off in the rough, the FOX thrives. Push it harder, ride it faster. Every detail inspires confidence in any sea state. Integrated ramps under front and rear pads position the rider naturally for reduced fatigue and maximum power transfer. Command the corners with confidence – the higher resolution shape and sharper tuck edge deliver cleaner water release. The FOX holds its line through the hardest power gybes and accelerates out with authority.

Plug-n-play simplicity maximises water time. Single Powerbox fin secured with one HEX-4 screw – the same tool that handles footstrap adjustment. No hassle, no compromise. New camo deck pads gets you looking sharper, even before you’ve hit the water.

Don’t let the technical comfort deceive you – in real world conditions the FOX delivers unmatched high-performance fun. The lightest FOX ever. Challenge accepted. Game on!

HEX 4

HEX 4

A single tool does everything.

1. Batten tension adjustment.
2. Fin screws (both SlotBox and PowerBox).
3. Footstrap installation.
4. Beer opener.

The HEX4 tool is supplied with every sail and every board. Compared to a Philips screwdriver, the 4mm hex key is a much easier system to tighten and adjust footstraps and fins. It only requires a rotational movement rather than downforce + rotation. The wide boomerang gives enough leverage to fully tighten footstraps with a fraction of the effort of a Philips screwdriver.

pointer

F-SERIES FIN

Rather than just matching an existing fin to a board, each F-Series fin is customised to the exact Fox board it’s designed for.

Rake angles increase as board size decreases to maintain control as conditions get more extreme. Surface area, base chord length and profiles are selected for each individual fin in order to maximise the performance of the complete unit.

G10 is the material of choice due to it’s consistency and durability. The fin’s outline is designed to make the most out of this G10 material – twist is minimized with the narrow tip, and flex is controlled with the chord lengths.

FAQ

Can I use a bigger/smaller fin than recommended if I try a bigger/smaller sail than recommended?

Yes. Follow the recommended sail/fin range on the product page.

Why is the Fox equipped with a power box?

Plug and play. The simplicity of having just one screw that works with the same Hex 4 key as the footstraps allows for very quick and easy setups.

What is the function of the integrated ramps?

The integrated ramps have been designed to authomatically lift the toes and place the rider in a much more comfortable position. The pads will naturally suit the correct stance on the board so you can lock into position and blast for hours. Cramps in your calves and shins will not shorten your time and fun on the water anymore.

How many footstraps positions does the FOX allow?

The FOX comes with inboard and outboard footstrap inserts in the front and the back. Furthermore, each insert group offer three options; front, middle, and back.

Which sails are recommended for the FOX?

The FOX can be paired with many types of sails. We recommend the Moto for the ultimate freerace combo, and NCX for a no-cam slalom setup.

Can the FOX be used as a foil board?

We do not recommend using the FOX as a foil board. The SEVERNE ALIEN is the most adequate for freeride foiling, and the SEVERNE PREDATOR is for high-level freeride and freestyle. Lastly, the SEVERNE HYDRO serves as the foil race board.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY A NOSE PROTECTOR ONLY?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy the protector only. You can order the board with a nose protector when pre-ordering. These are pre-fitted in the factory.

WHAT SIZE BOARD BAG DO I NEED?

WHERE I CAN BUY SEVERNE BOARDS?

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT BOARD?

Depending on your skills, weight, and wind conditions you aim to windsurf, different board sizes are recommended.
We suggest finding a dealer nearby to get the best advice.
