A fully qualified instructors team has taught watersports sports to beginners and advanced students since 1993. They strive to teach the sport in a clear and straightforward manner, prioritizing safety at all times, regardless of experience level.
The resort offers high-end accommodation located on sight, Anapnoe is the first and only accommodation right on the shores of the spot, that draws windsurfing and kitesurfing lovers from all over the world. Featuring an intimate complex of 7 suites and 4 houses with pools, Anapnoe is purposefully designed for those who are driven by their passion for water sports and guided by the wind and the sea.
There is a big surf shop located inside the resort on the spot where you can find everything you need, the shop sells SEVERNE boards, sails, booms, and masts, new or used, and also has a large variety of accessories such as extensions, bases, lines, ropes, and parts, as well as a massive selection of harnesses and wetsuits. The resort offers disability friendly facilities, and is LGBTQ friendly and pet-friendly.

WHERE IS PAROS WINDSURF LOCATED?
The center is located on the west coast of Paros island in the channel between Paros and Antiparos in the middle of the Cyclades complex, where the Meltemi north winds never stop blowing!
WHICH MONTHS ARE THE BEST TO VISIT PAROS WINDSURF?
You can windsurf all year round, but the Meltemi (trade summertime North winds) period is in May to October, with the strongest winds blowing June/July/August/September.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?
May and October is around 18Cº to 22Cº, June to September the temperature is up from 22Cº to 32Cº, mostly sunny and dry.
WHAT CONDITIONS DOES THE SPOT OFFER?
The spot offers a unique setup, side shore wind, flat water, gets to soft chop after 22-24knt, the wind is consistent and dense because it is dry, and because of the Bernoulli effect in the channel between the 2 islands of Paros and Antiparos, there are no scary gusts here. It’s the ultimate spot that can accommodate anyone from total beginners to pro riders of all disciplines, except down-the-line wave sailing.

FOR WHICH TYPE OF RIDER IS THE SPOT MOST SUITABLE?
For every rider except wave riders, since there are no waves on the spot, yet there is wave sailing around the island, but for all other disciplines, also foil windsurfing it’s the perfect spot.
DO YOU OFFER CLINICS AND LESSONS?
Various clinics are offered throughout the year. Throughout intense windsurf sessions you will have eye-opening theory talks as well as video analysis of your performance on the water. In the evening you will go for dinner together, or share other activities. April/May & October/November you need 3/2mm or 4/3mm then June to September a short 2mm, or 1mm vest or just with shorts some days.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO BESIDES WINDSURFING?
At the center, you can do SUP, but rarely there is no wind at all, also you can enjoy the delicious food in the Vayou restaurant that is located beside us which offers everything, also for Vegan, Vegetarian, and meat eaters. Next to that, there is lots to do around the island.
ARE THERE ANY BARS OR RESTAURANTS AROUND?
There are many different options on both islands, including easy access to Antiparos with a 5-minute shuttle ferry every 20 min. And if you don´t want to move away from the spot, Vayou restaurant is your place.

When SEVERNE team rider Federico Infantino made his annual pilgrimage 1,000km north to Gnaraloo this October, the forecast was holding strong with a solid 20-second period swell on the cards. After a decade of chasing waves at one of Western Australia’s most remote locations, Federico knew this one was different.
RENE EGLI – Location feature
René Egli Fuerteventura has offered world-class windsurfing holidays since 1984 and is considered the biggest centre worldwide. Situated right at the famous World Cup spot with a tidal lagoon, this spot offers outstanding wind statistics. The equipment is renewed annually, while rentals and courses are offered for all levels. WAVE SCHOOL, LA TRANCHE SUR MER – LOCATION FEATURE
Based in La Tranche Sur Mer, France, Wave School has been a windsurf centre since 1984. Settled between a lake and the open sea, Wave School offers courses and rental at a perfect spot for beginners, as well as, intermediate to expert level windsurfers.
BROUWERSDAM – Location feature
“Zeil en Surfcentrum Brouwersdam” has been a windsurf centre since 1993. Over the last years it has undergone a large modernisation and grown in size. Not only a windsurf centre – Brouwersdam offers the full experience with cottages, water activities, sailing, and a shop and restaurant.
