Conditions
Do I need to bring my own wetsuit and harness?
No, it is possible to rent or buy a wetsuit and/or harness at René Egli.
Best months to visit?
All year round – depends on the expectation.
What is the weather like?
In Fuerteventura, the temperature is almost always above 20°C during the day. During the summer we can expect an average of 10 hours of sun and during the winter this drops down to an average of 7 hours.
Which conditions does the spot offer?
The conditions that René Egli offers are Side-Offshore wind with flat- or choppy water. Of course, we provide In-house safety.
Which type of rider is the spot most suitable for?
Our spot is suitable for every kind of rider, from beginner to advance and nearly every discipline. (Freeride, Slalom & Freestyle)
Which wetsuit do I need?
During the summer we advise a 3/2mm shorty or just a bikini/boardshorts. In during the winter riders should wear a long wetsuit.

What can you do besides windsurfing?
René Egli also offers Kitesurfing & Wing-Foiling as well as the use of SUP boards.
Are there any bars or restaurants around?
The René Egli Center provides and owns Beach-Bar directly in the Kite Center with snacks, coffee and cold drinks. Furthermore, the Hotel INNSiDE by Meliá Fuerteventura (16+) offers a great Menu at mid-day.

PRASONISI CENTER – LOCATION FEATURE
Prasonisi Beach is the southernmost beach of Rhodes – the main island of the Dodecanese Island in Greece. WAVE SCHOOL, LA TRANCHE SUR MER – LOCATION FEATURE
Based in La Tranche Sur Mer, France, Wave School has been a windsurf centre since 1984. Settled between a lake and the open sea, Wave School offers courses and rental at a perfect spot for beginners, as well as, intermediate to expert level windsurfers.
BROUWERSDAM – Location feature
“Zeil en Surfcentrum Brouwersdam” has been a windsurf centre since 1993. Over the last years it has undergone a large modernisation and grown in size. Not only a windsurf centre – Brouwersdam offers the full experience with cottages, water activities, sailing, and a shop and restaurant.
