PHILIP KÖSTER
THE LOWDOWN
Born in Gran Canaria and living just 100m from the beach in Vargas, Phillip has grown up windsurfing.
After already 3 world titles Philip Koster sustained a very bad knee injury at his favourite wave spot Gnaraloo in W.A. . This made him miss out on the 2nd part of the PWA season in 2016 while being in 2nd place of the rankings. However, having just starting sailing 3 weeks before the first contest in 2017, Philip managed to pull off the best comeback ever by winning his 4th PWA world title!
Since then, Philip has gone on to win another world title in 2019.
Since 2020, Philip has joined the full Severne brand riding both boards and sails.
