I am Liam Dunkerbeck, a young windsurfer from a little town near Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria, and I’ve been windsurfing since the age of five.
Originally I was mostly surfing. When I turned 10, I was starting to enjoy windsurfing sessions a lot more and haven’t looked back since.

Lina Erpenstein wins her first-ever World Cup in Chile
Severne rider rose to the top of the podium in her first-ever World Cup Victory in Chile. The women’s final consisted of no less than three Severne riders; Sol Degrieck who finished second and Pauline Katz who finished fourth.
THE ACTION IS HEATING UP IN CHILE
One of the biggest windsurf wave events in South American history kicked off on April 1st, and will run through to April 12th. The time has come for the PWA-IWT Chile World Cup, and based on the action we saw last year, we can expect to see high-quality windsurfing.

PWA Gran Canaria World Cup 2023 – eight days of full on action
This year’s Gran Canaria world cup was a week-long windsurfing action reel covering wave, and slalom racing.
Not a single day was quiet during this year’s Gran Canaria World Cup. The first weekend delivered the near-perfect wave conditions we all see in magazine shots. Then followed three days of full-power slalom racing, only to have wave action return the following weekend to bookend an incredible event.
Nearly all podiums had Severne riders present. Amongst others, Daida Moreno won her 22nd Pozo title, and Blanca Alabau won her first-ever women’s slalom victory.

Jane Seman and Philip Köster crowned themselves as the winners of the PWA – IWT Surazo Infernal in Matanzas, Chile.

After a long absence, the PWA Pozo World Cup has resurfaced with a bang. Philip Köster, hungry for victory, dominated to take the win in the mens fleet while Iballa Moreno beat her sister in the final to take the win in the womens fleet
Defi Wind 2022 was one to remember
After years of no large scale events, the 2022 edition of the Defi Wind brought back all of the best elements of the past; lots of wind, lots of action, parties, and the reunion of 1200+ windsurfers from across the globe.
