The Moto is a direct descendant of the Mach6 race sail program and utilizes the XR concept: An Xtended Range for each sail size allows for bigger gaps in your quiver. Choose your favorite sail and then skip a size up or down to broaden your wind range.

CAN I RIG THE MOTO ON SDM MASTS?
Yes, you can. However, the MOTO is delivered with RDM cambers, therefore you have to switch them to SDM cambers that needs to be ordered separately.
CAN I GET THE MOTO TO REPLACE MY TURBO/OVERDRIVE?
The MOTO outperforms the Turbo and the Overdrive. It has as much stability, and top speed as both Overdrive and Turbo.
The MOTO delivers the same performance as the Overdrive with easier handling and more range.
If you’re used to sailing the Overdrive or Turbo, the MOTO is the perfect sail for you.
How many cambers does the Moto have?
The MOTO has two cambers. Both cambers are placed below the boom.
What is the tapered mast sleeve for?
The tapered mast sleeve contributes to the light feeling of the MOTO. Gybing becomes effortless and waterstarting becomes easier with less water filling the sleeve.
How much downhaul should I use on the Moto?
The MOTO comes with very few tuning options. Use the recommended downhaul and outhaul settings and work your way from there. Many opt to use the recommended downhaul settings and adjust the outhaul settings for fine-tuning to the conditions.
The MOTO also offers two clew height options.
What is the difference between the Moto and the Mach sails?
The MOTO has 2 cams.
The MACH has 4 cams.
The MOTO is freeride oriented with as much stability and top speeds as a slalom sail.
The MACH is a dedicated slalom sail.
The MOTO is lighter.
All MOTO sizes are rigged on RDM masts.
WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED MAST FOR THE MOTO?
We recommend the SEVERNE RDM Red for all Moto sizes.

CAN I USE A NON SEVERNE MAST WITH THE MOTO?
All of our development, testing, rigging, and tuning are done using Severne masts. We don’t test the performance or bend curves of other masts, and can not guarantee which performance or durability you can get out of your sail using a different brand mast. Therefore, we strongly recommend our customers use SEVERNE masts.
