HYPERLITE _FAST FREERIDE FOIL

The HyperLite morphs the Hyper with the FoilGlide – featuring the lightweight sleeve width and handling of the FoilGlide and the shaping of the Hyper.

More freerace oriented than the FoilGlide, the HyperLite is a faster sail, matching perfectly with the Alien and the Hydro.

Much lighter than the Hyper, handling will be unmatched – blast for hours.

Following Severne’s ideology, everything is simplified. An Xtended range drastically reduces the need for many sizes. The HyperLite is offered in just four sizes.

HyperLite will define the foil freerace category. Go fast for hours, go exploring, experience the freedom.

All HyperLite sizes benefit from a new Xtended Range technology that allows for bigger gaps in your quiver.

Xtended Range was developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends: deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HYPERLITE AND THE FOILGLIDE?

The HyperLite is more stable
The HyperLite has better top end performance and has higher top speed potential
The HyperLite combines Hyper shaping with FoilGlide handling
The HyperLite is more freerace oriented

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HYPERLITE AND THE HYPER?

The HyperLite is lighter
The HyperLite has easier handling
The HyperLite has a narrower sleeve width
The HyperLite is more accessible for recreational foilers

HOW MANY CAMS ARE ON THE HYPERLITE?

The HyperLite has 3 cambers in all sizes.
All cambers are RDM.
You can switch them to SDM cams, however, you need to order them separately.

CAN I USE THE HYPERLITE FOR LEARNING HOW TO FOIL?

Yes, but the R4D might be more suitable for complete beginners. The HyperLite is designed for foilers who want to progress to higher speeds.

WHAT BOOM LENGTH DOES THE HYPERLITE REQUIRE?

All HyperLite sizes rig on a single boom: 170-220. This simplifies your setup and reduces quiver complexity.

CAN I USE THE HYPERLITE ON A FIN BOARD?

The HyperLite is specifically designed for foiling. For fin sailing, we recommend dedicated SEVERNE freeride sails like the Moto or NCX.

WHICH BOARDS WORK BEST WITH THE HYPERLITE?

The HyperLite perfectly matches the Alien freeride foil board and the Hydro race foil board. It’s optimized for foil-specific equipment.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED MAST FOR THE HYPERLITE?

RDM RED for ultimate performance
RDM BLUE for high-end performance with increased reliability

HOW DOES THE XTENDED RANGE WORK ON THE HYPERLITE?

Xtended Range technology allows bigger gaps between sizes in your quiver. Each sail covers a wider wind range at both the lower and higher ends through deeper profiles locked in place with added skin tension.

WHERE CAN I ORDER SPARE PARTS OR MATERIALS TO REPAIR MY SAIL?

You can order repair material from your local dealer or distributor. Use the dealer locator to find your nearest SEVERNE dealer.
