DOUBLE TITLE FOR TEAM SEVERNE
The 2025 Freestyle Pro Tour season finished without its finale. Light wind at Naxos prevented official competition from running; Maaike Huvermann and Lennart Neubauer’s season-long leads became FPT Championship titles when the event couldn’t proceed.
Both arrived at Naxos leading their rankings but needing the week to finish what they’d started. When conditions refused to cooperate and no official heats ran, the standings locked.

Maaike’s Lead Holds
Maaike Huvermann arrived at Naxos in first position. Throughout 2025 she’d been the only woman consistently landing Burner 360s in competition; a technical standard that built her points lead through the season.
While official competition stayed on hold, Maaike used the tow-in sessions to showcase what brought her to Naxos in first place. Her Cana Brava attempts and clean Funnell execution demonstrated the level that separated her from the field all season.
With Naxos unable to run, Maaike’s points total stood; European Title secured through consistent performance.

Lennart’s Season Stands
Lennart Neubauer led the FPT rankings into Naxos. The Greek rider had dominated freestyle competitions throughout 2025 and added foilstyle brilliance to his resume before the season finale.
At Naxos, despite no official scoring, Lennart competed in the Foilstyle Super Session and tow-in; delivering a serious show.
When conditions prevented Naxos from running, Lennart’s points total locked; 2025 FPT Overall Title confirmed.

Takumi’s Season
Japan’s Takumi Moriya finished 4th overall on season points. At Naxos, despite no official competition, Takumi threw one of his strongest tow-in performances; landing triple Funnells and a big Burner 360 off the kicker with control and style that turned heads. Team SEVERNE will see more from this grom in 2026.

Season Decided
2025 came down to consistency across every event before Naxos. Yentel Caers built podium results; Jacopo Testa stayed consistent throughout; rising talents showed progression.
Maaike and Lennart led when it mattered. When Naxos couldn’t deliver the finale, their ground work throughout the season stood as final results.
