Surf Hub Tenerife opened its doors in 2020 and is one of the few centres in the world where you can ride nearly the full Severne equipment range, including premium level products. Located in El Médano on the island of Tenerife, Surf Hub offers world-class conditions, and a great atmosphere all year round.

Do I need to bring my own wetsuit and harness?
Surf Hub will provide everything you need, We have full equipment available: long or short wetsuit, harnesses, impact vest, and helmet.
Best months to visit?
Of course, it’s always a good time to visit us but if you are looking for a quiet period, we suggest you come from September till November and from March till May, instead of the busier period, which is from December till February and from June till August.
What is the weather like?
The sun shines for more days of the year here than most other places in the world, the climate is glorious, we could say that the average temperatures are between:
16-22°C from December to March and
18-24°C in April, May, and November
20-29°C from June to October.
Which conditions does the spot offer?
Looking to the right, a hundred meters downwind from our centre, you’ll find the famous wave sailing spot El Cabezo, for intermediate and advanced windsurfers.
Right in front of the centre the conditions are more for freeride and bump & jump while closer to the beach nice and easy waves break gently.
The spot offers perfect conditions for riders that want to approach wave riding for the first time too.
Which type of rider is the spot most suitable for?
Riders that like wave (from beginner to advance) and freeride conditions.
Which wetsuit do I need?
During winter, riders are used to wearing a 3/2, and during summer full shorty or long sleeve 2/2.
What can you do besides windsurfing?
El Médano offers great mountain biking, hiking the local Montaña Roja and Pelada, lots of restaurants; and if you’ve got a car Las Americas, and plenty of entertainment opportunities are nearby.
Are there any bars or restaurants around?
Yes, in front of the centre there is an Italian restaurant/pizzeria and another bar/restaurant where you can have a really good breakfast and lunch or just a bite between sessions.
