Welcome to the Severne “Defi Wind 2022” event page. Here you’ll find the most up to date information about Severne’s activities at the Defi Wind 2022. You will be able to visit us and meet the team at any given time while the event village is open from May 26-29.
The Severne booth will be the centre of activities for all Severne events unless if they happen on the main stage. The most up to date event information can be found in the “activity schedule” section on this page.

Check out the new Severne Hydro at the 2022 Defi Wind
The latest addition to the Severne board range, the Hydro is a foil race board designed using innovative technology and computer modeling for scale tipping performance across all foil racing disciplines.
At the 2022 Defi Wind, you will get an up-close view of the Hydro and see it in action on the water.
TECH TALK
Severne has been leading the sail development revolution from the ground up. We use the most technical, lightweight materials available.
Many of the materials and technologies that we use, have been designed in-house, and are now considered the industry standard.
Be sure to check out presentations and talks either at the Severne booth or on stage about technologies such as Carbon Fusion, VX2, and yet-to-be-published innovations.

- 7-8 pm – Evening welcome “after surf meet & greet with SV team.
- May 27 (Fri)
- (Time TBC) – 022 race gear + team presentation (either on stage or at SV booth).
- (Time TBC) – Official Severne “Baby-foot” world championships. Fight to beat our team to win a prize.
- (Time TBC) – “Hydro” night. Special event at the Severne booth to celebrate the arrival of the “Hydro” foil race board, and new Severne team riders.
- May 28 (Sat)
- (Time TBC) – Team presentation and poster signing with the Severne team (International + French team)
- (Time TBC) – Technology talk at the Severne booth or on stage. Focus on S-1 Pro, carbon fusion, future gradient panel technology, and the materials revolution.
- (Time TBC) – Meet the team & poster signing at the Severne booth.
- 7-8pm – Evening SV X STB meet & greet at the Severne & Starboard booth.

Severne joins 2022 Defi Wind
After the return of Defi Wind Superstars in 2021, the full scale Defi Wind we all know is back, and will happen from May 26 to May 29. The Severne crew and the majority of the Severne team will be present throughout the whole event.
