For the first time in years, the conditions throughout the event were ideal. With steady winds of around 20 knots and a big enough swell to see some cool wave action, the race was a great success for the organizers and competitors. Around 150 sailors from amateurs to professionals joined the long distance race, considerably less joined the slalom event on Sunday after a mega party on Saturday night.
